Dear ESV-members,
This academic year it is my honour to fill the position of chairman in the XXXIIIrd board of the ESV Nijmegen. I look forward to a year full of activities now that we can have physical activities again, but I also look forward to the challenges it will bring.
My name is Eline Meiberg, I am 21 years old and I am from Lemelerveld. I started my higher education on HBO-level, I did business economics for a year there and then decided to continue at university level. Meanwhile I have been living in Nijmegen for more than three years, currently following the fourth year of the bachelor, specialising in Business Economics. The past three years I have been an active member of the ESV. In these three years I have, among other things, organised the Nijmegen Career Event and the lustrum of the ESV. In the NCE committee I was part of the subcommittee for external affairs. I learned a lot in terms of formal skills and more broadly in the area of formal contacts. As an active member of the ESV I took part in many fun activities and I have met a great deal of new people!
As chairman of the ESV I am the face of the association and I am the first point of contact for members. Next, I chair board meetings and General Member Meetings. Another one of my responsibilities is the support of my co-board members. Together with them I will manage the association this year. Due to the fact that we do not have an activities coordinator this year I will also take on a part of the responsibilities that belong to this board position. If you have any questions for me, don’t hestitate to tekst me or ask me in person in the ESV-room!
