Your responsibilities
As an M&A intern at Blacktrace, you will be involved in:
- Understanding and analyse the dynamics of the market segments Blacktrace is focusing
- Identifying the drivers of market segments, of market players and of M&A activity
- Generating and analyzing M&A related data (transaction values, multiples, etc.)
- Modelling in Excel the market segment in question and analyse leading market, business and M&A indicators
- Generating insightful M&A analyses based on the output generated from all Excel models and data gathered about M&A and market players
- Generating longlists
- Report through Information Memorandums and M&A opportunities

We are looking for
To be suitable for this role you have to be finalising your degree (Master or Bachelor) in Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, or have another Bachelor or Master degree with proven affinity with business models, economics, and finance. You display a high level of integrity, confidentiality, stress resistance, flexibility and creativity. You need to have (i) an outgoing personality, (ii) strong analytical skills and (iii) presentation skills to deliver Information Memorandums and M&A publications. You show self-propelling skills to find your way within a boutique firm to achieve the goals set. Your English as well as Dutch language is excellent in wording and writing.
